Chapter 429

“What?” Anna stood up abruptly and downed the whole cup of liquor.
She shoved the reformed version of Dragon Tusk into her bag and rushed out.
A few seconds later, she rushed back in and grabbed Alex by his arm. “Steel Tower is
hurt. You’re a miracle doctor, right? Come with me and take a look at him.”
Before Alex could even refuse, she dragged him straight into her car and rushed to their
temporary base. Slamming the pedal to the metal, Anna rushed off to Serenity Villa.
Alex noticed many other Divine Constabulary members this time. He was able to count
at least ten or so members. Ted Summers from the Summers family in California was
here as well. However, he looked like a mess. He was covered in dust and several
injuries.
Everyone seemed very upset, visibly worried.
Anna had quite the reputation in Divine Constabulary. As she walked over to the manor,
many greeted her along the way, referring to her as ‘Tigress’.
Alex couldn’t help but think. ‘Did this originate from her aggressive personality?’
Anna managed to find Sky in the middle of the crowd. She asked, “Captain, how’s Steel
Tower?”

Sky’s expression was grim. “Ms. Nanami is trying to save him now, in there.”
After noticing Alex, Sky’s eyes lit up. “Alex, you’re here too.”
He knew that Alex was very skilled in medicine. Wallace Yoke, the well-known imperial
doctor, had worshipped Alex as well. As the apostle of Dazzle, Alex might be able to
save Steel Tower despite his condition.
Just then, the door opened wide. A woman who was wearing a white doctor’s robe and
a mask came out of the room, covered in blood.
“Ms. Nanami, how is Steel Tower?” Sky asked.
The others came forward, they were eager to hear Dr. Nanami’s reply as well.
However, bad news dawned upon them. Ms. Nanami shook her head gently. “Sorry, I
did what I could.”
“What?”
“Steel Tower, he…”
Every single person in the hall was shocked, it was as if they could hear their hearts
shattering simultaneously. Sky clenched his fists tightly and punched a giant hole into
the wall next to him.
Some even started crying out loud.
Anna leaned against Alex and bit down on his shoulder. Alex yelped in pain. However,
none paid attention to his screams.
Everyone then rushed into the room, they wanted to send Steel Tower off.
Alex sighed as well. Back when he first came here, Steel Tower blocked his way. He
was a skilled fighter who trained with brute force. If it weren’t for the breath of Chi his
ancestor gave him, Alex knew he wouldn’t have been able to stand a chance
against him.
He didn’t expect death to meet Steel Tower before he did.
“Steel Tower!”
“Oh, Steel! My brother!”
