She was frustrated in that instant, and said angrily, “Why can’t I get a single penny after
my house went through such damage?”
“Didn’t Alex just buy you a twenty million dollar villa? Look at you, you were having the
time of your life when you swam in the pool yesterday. You should do the same today
too!” said Dorothy.
Claire shouted, “I don’t care, I want my money. Give me ten million dollars, or else I will
stay here tonight and I won’t leave!”

Dorothy slapped a credit card on the table. “Here’s a hundred thousand dollars. Either
you take it or you stay right here, I don’t care.”
Realizing that Dorothy wasn’t joking with her, Claire couldn’t help but grab the credit
card.
Beatrice then said, “Can I have ten thousand dollars please, Sis?”
“Why do you need so much money?” Dorothy frowned.
“I… To attend Zendaya’s concert at California State Stadium… My ticket has been

bought by someone using borrowed money. If you don’t give me the money, I’ll have no
choice but to go for online loans.”
“Are you nuts?” Dorothy instantly chided, “You must not go for any online loans! Haven’t
you watched those tragic news? Once you have started borrowing online loans, it will be
a bottomless pit after that and the debt will just keep snowballing. No matter how much
fortune those people possess, they will be sucked dry by these loans, leaving them

Beatrice said, “That is exactly why you should give me the money. Think of it as a loan

Dorothy was livid but there was nothing else she could do.
Alex frowned and said, “Didn’t you just attend Zendaya’s concert last time? Why do you
still want to attend the concert this time? Did you forget you were almost kidnapped to
warm someone’s bed last time?”
Beatrice glared at him. “How did you know?”
Alex said, “I… Heard it from someone else.”
Beatrice snorted. “Mind your own business.”
Alex pouted his lips as he thought, ‘Since I will be going up the stage at the concert
later, shouldn’t I wear a mask whatsoever?’

Time flew, and soon the day of Zendaya’s concert came. On the other hand, Brittany
purposely made the trip back from Michigan. First, it was to attend the concert,
secondly, she wanted to meet Zendaya to discuss the matter of product endorsement.
Holly Yates also accompanied her on the trip.
The extra tickets in Alex’s hand finally came in handy. Not only did Brittany and Holly
attend the concert, but both Waltz and Maya also went there too. However, Alex had to
