Claire was thrown to the ground harshly and her nose bled as she fell face first. The impact woke her up
instantly. “A car crash! A car crash! Which bastards ran into our car…?“
Before Claire could understand her situation, she started screaming because she thought the car crash had just

in an unfamiliar room and her daughters were lying on the ground unconscious. Next to her were three other people in masks, hence she couldn’t see who they were.

Claire’s voice was trembling. As someone who had never experienced anything like this, she
was extremely terrified. She kept screaming at her daughters as well. “Dorothy, Beatrice! Wake up! Please wake up!”

The masked woman shook her head, clearly running out of patience. She felt as if slapping wasn’t effective, hence she took out a shiny dagger, waving it in front of Claire’s eyes, filling her with more terror. Slash…

been clogged up.
Just then, she felt a sharp stinging pain on her face. Touching her cheek gently, she realized that her hand was covered in blood. The masked woman had slashed her face. Her face was ruined. Claire’s body trembled intensely. She covered her face as blood continued to flow out of her wound.
She could feel her legs going weak, she was so terrified that she wanted to scream for help again.
