“Alex Rockefeller? Which Alex Rockefeller?” Adrianna froze, she felt that this name was oddly familiar. It was mainly because she usually didn’t refer to Alex by his name, she just called him a loser or trash. Taylor asked, “He couldn’t be Dorothy’s ex-husband, right?” Only then did Adrianna remember that the trashy husband that Dorothy had just divorced was indeed called

Alex Rockefeller. She huffed disdainfully.

“How could it be that trash? If it really was him, I’d eat my

shoe… Sharpay, don’t keep us guessing. Hurry and explain clearly.”

Sharpay said, “You should eat your shoe first!” Adrianna was slightly annoyed as she said, “I said, if… Ah, wait. So, you’re saying that your CEO really is

that trashy Rockefeller?

He’s the owner of City Salon? But, how could that be?”

Sharpay huffed coldly. “Well, it’s the truth. There’s more to this too, I can guarantee that you’re going to

question your whole life after this.”

She then proceeded and told them everything that happened during the afternoon. She told them that Alex was the CEO of City Salon and the boss of Lush Cosmetics, Lord Lex and the captain

of the officials had to pay utmost respect to him.

Moreover, his fighting skills were terrifying… Adrianna and

Taylor were extremely appalled to every bit of it, as if they were listening to the unbelievable stories of The

Arabian Nights.

“Sharpay, are you sure that you’re talking about Alex Rockefeller?”

Adrianna felt as if this person she was

talking about was nowhere near how she remembered Alex as he was. “Of course, I am. I even insulted him at first, and my manager slapped me for it! Mom, I’ve made up my


mind. I have to date him.”

Sharpay’s declaration shocked the spouses, their eyes widened with their mouths agape.

Taylor disagreed on the spot. “He’s Dorothy’s husband. They just divorced and you’re trying to date him

already? Isn’t that kind of immoral?” However, Adrianna slapped him on the thigh. “So what? If Alex really was as powerful as Sharpay said so, what’s with chasing after him? Since both of them are single, then they are just right… Say, how could my

sister not know how powerful he is?

Why did he hide his capabilities this much?”

Taylor huffed as she said, “Of course, your sister must’ve insulted him too harshly! He didn’t tell her

because he was upset!” Adrianna pondered and agreed immediately. “This lunatic had such a wealthy son-in-law, yet she insisted on

chasing him away! Well, it’s good news for us anyway.

Sharpay, Dorothy is nowhere near better than you. I support you in this! Go chase after him, seduce him! When he becomes my son-in-law later, we’d be rich!”

Sharpay said, “But you mustn‘t tell anyone else, especially Auntie and the others. Alex said if I were to

expose him, he’d have Lord Lex from Thousand Miles to drown all of us in a river. I witnessed a few thugs

who were taken away to be drowned today.”

The spouses fell silent.

Adrianna then said, “Do you think I’m stupid? Of course, I won’t tell anyone else. If that snobbish aunt of

yours were to know about this, she’d definitely ask Dorothy to get back with him. We can tell them after he

becomes my son-in-law. So you have to give your all, Sharpay.

Since Alex had just gotten a divorce, he

must b e down in the dumps. This is the best time to get with him since he’s vulnerable. Don’t miss this

chance.”

Just as Adrianna was planning with her family on how to have Sharpay seduce Alex, Alex was watching a

movie with Dorothy in the cinema. It was an unpopular romance movie. There were very few audiences, with only six of them in total in the hall. They were all couples.

Almost none of them were there to actually watch the movie. A couple was hugging each other in their seats

as they kissed passionately. The insuppressible sounds that they were making made Dorothy blush…

However, Alex wasn’t keeping his hands to himself as well, causing her whole body to shudder. She wasn’t

able to focus on the movie at all.

She stood up abruptly. Alex thought that she was mad, so he hurriedly grabbed her arm. “Darling, what’s wrong?” Dorothy whispered, “I saw you’re in a hurry. I just can’t focus on the movie at all. Let’s go home.” Alex was slightly upset. “It’ s still early though, why are we going back now?”

“Oh, you dummy. We’re going back to your place.”
