“Me and my ex-brother-in-law?” Beatrice looked at Rat shockingly but she immediately calmed down. “Don’t you dare spread rumours. I have
nothing to do with that man at all. Don’t think about using Photoshopped photos to extort my money, I don’t
have money either.” Rat smiled as he said, “Really? I didn’t say I was going to extort you but I found accidentally something really
interesting. If you’re not interested, then forget about it!” Beatrice was getting curious and asked. “What is it?” Rat replied, “A footage at Apollo Hotel. Well, technically there are three footages.”
Beatrice was shocked. ‘Apollo Hotel, isn’t there the place where I got drugged and almost got raped by that Spark Rockefeller, and
then saved by Mask? Spark and Yeferson died there.’ This had always been the biggest secret in her heart. Outsiders must not know about this. ‘But, what did it have to do with Alex?’ Beatrice was unsettled. She was worried that Rat might have known something. Especially, if the death of
Spark were to be blamed on her, the Rockefellers would never let her off the hook. She forcibly calmed herself and asked, “Say it properly, only then I’ll decide if I want to buy it.”
Rat said, “That night, your ex-brother-in-law seemed to have done something to you.
If you don’t want to

know, then forget about it. I promise that I won’t say anything about it. After all, I have good work ethics.” After pondering for a while, Beatrice finally said, “How much?”

was there. She clicked on the video and there were three CCTV footage. All of the footage was less than five minutes but after watching them, Beatrice felt as if she were struck by
lightning.
It was the footage of the incident that day. She saw Alex was following Yeferson and putting on a mask. Then, she saw… Alex carried her and left in a dark alley.
