Alex Rockefeller shook his head, knowing he couldn’t catch up even if he wanted to. When Alex returned, he heard a woman’s hysterical scream. She sounded very young.

Natalie was rolling on the ground. Both her legs were in a bloody mess, and they were making a sizzling sound. There was even some yellowish red color dripping onto the ground. It seemed sticky.
