That clumsy performance and those connotative eyes all indicated that the apology dinner that he had prepared would not be something good.
However, Brittany did not know Justin’s intention. She also wanted Alex to mend the relationship with the Melvises’ siblings. So, before Alex could reject him, she said, “Alex, since Soraya said so and Justin has also recognized his mistakes, you should go along. You’re all young people and should have some topics to talk about. This is a good time to bond with each other.”
Alex sneered in his mind. ‘Fine. I’ll see what kind of trick you’re going to play this time.’
Hence, he nodded his head and agreed to it.
When they were about to leave, Freya tagged along as well. It was not a big deal since everyone thought that Freya was Alex’s girlfriend. Otherwise, why would he bring her back to the Melvises’ residence?
At first, Soraya wanted to tag along as well. However, before she left the door, her best friend suddenly called her. It seemed that she was in trouble and needed Soraya to help her solve it. So, Soraya had to go there.
Soon after, Alex brought along Freya, following Justin and the Swartzes’ twins to a place called the Blue Whale Club. They said that this place was operated by a certain brother. Not only were the drinks free of charge, but the environment was quite comfortable as well.
Alex only smiled and kept quiet.
Freya pulled Alex and used the Voice of a Thousand Miles to speak to Alex. “Clearly, these few guys are up to no good. Why are you still following them? Are you dumb? Why don’t we go to the Anchorage Market? I heard that the Anchorage Market is quite lively at night.”
