A little light lit up the pitch-black cave.

Alex kept his guard up and stared intently at the wall. As expected, they were ancient runes, but they weren’t as complicated as he initially expected. He could handle them easily on his professional level, but he had neither Chi nor a cultivation base now. In that past, he could mobilize the spell formation and open the stone door by making a seal with his hands.

When Alex glanced back amidst the commotion, he was shocked. It turned out to be three enormous mutant crocodiles with open mouths as huge as small boats. In this pitch-black environment, their eyes had degenerated, and their eyeballs were covered. They differentiated directions by relying on sounds.

At that moment, Maximilia could only make a move. She rushed forward to fight the three enormous crocodiles alone.

Powerless, Alex couldn’t help but feel anxious from the sidelines… Furthermore, he could see nothing and could only hear. He was vastly experienced in combat, though, able to differentiate positions.
