Nathaniel brought Ozzy and the rest to the outside of the emergency room of the hospital. They could see that Jacob was sitting at the end of the hall; his facial expression was tense, and his face was pale.

Peyton was so anxious that she lingered nonstop in the hall, and she kept on wiping off her tears.

They were taken by surprise by Nathaniel’s arrival.

The emergency door was opened, and the surgeon walked out.

“The patient is in critical condition; who is her family? Please come over and sign for her!”

Everyone was stunned. None of them could sign for Freya on her behalf; it was so ironic for her.

Peyton hurriedly volunteered herself by saying, “Doctor, let me do it!” I’ll sign!”

Peyton held the surgeon’s arm, and she cried, “Doctor. I’m begging you… Her father died, and her mother is in a coma. Please! Please do the surgery for her now!”

“I’m her friend; I’ll take full responsibility! Let me sign it, please! Please allow me to… Please save her! She really has no one.” Peyton suddenly knelt down to the surgeon.
