I sat up in bed watching my mate sleep. My fingers gently stroked his hair out of his face and I was both amazed and relieved that he didn't wake up. Last night, he explained everything to me and my first instinct was to panic but I knew that he needed me for this and the last thing either of us needed was for me to lose my shit.
