Perhaps Sophia sounded like she was joking and this made Dylan laugh out loud.

Dylan nodded and replied, “Yes.”

Sophia shrugged her shoulders. “Then, I can’t help it.” After both of them walked further into the bamboo forest, Sophia stood still. She continued, “But your cousin and I have yet to divorce each other. Initially, we wanted to get a divorce. However, we found out that it wasn’t easy to start and end a marriage. Sophia smiled and asked, “Now that I’ve put it this way, would you believe me?”
