His movements were so swift that it even shocked her, and she giggled. “Your reaction is lightning quick!”

“Yeah,” John murmured and cast her a concerned look. “Are you going to the bathroom?”

Sophia nodded. “I would like to wash my face.”

After washing her face, Sophia was startled when she turned and saw him staring fixedly at her, unblinking. “What’s wrong?”

Sophia nodded and thanked him, but he went downstairs straightaway without another word.
