Zack sighed. “Roselia said she’d try to hook up with his brother, and then there’s this.” He handed John a photo. “Roselia gave me this, but she didn’t say much. Probably wants us to look into this guy.”

John took a look at the photo and noticed a serious-looking guy in it. “Got it.” He nodded. “I’ll send someone to look into this.”

Zack gave John a look. “I don’t think it’s safe for her to hook up with someone from the shadow bank. It might be dangerous.”

John snorted. “She’s smart, so don’t worry about her. If anything crops up, she’s going to be the first to leave.”

Zack stared at him. We’re digressing. “Roselia sounds different whenever she talks about you. You sure you didn’t do anything with her?”

John gave him a look. “Focus on your work, not gossip.”
