Chapter 1481 Appointment

That trait of hers alone was enough to tremble the most sensitive spot in his heart.

Regardless, he was aware that it wasn’t love he was feeling. Instead, it was simply a temporary infatuation that stemmed from her ability to fulfill the part of his body that craved affection.

He didn’t want to get hooked on the sense of deception, so he decided to give himself some space to cool down.

Clueless to Ian’s thoughts, Cindy was innocently mapping out her plans for her three-day break.

Soon, the car arrived at the studio. Cindy grabbed her makeup kit and alighted the car.

Ian merely glimpsed at her without lending his hand and marched into the building.

Nonetheless, Cindy wasn’t affected by this; she didn’t argue with him and quickly caught up to Ian after taking the kit.

Later on, she waited beside them as the makeup artist gave him a touch up.

However, the man never once looked at her; he didn’t even spare her a glance as he merely stared at his own reflection in the mirror.

Cindy, who was rather slow when it came to relationships, didn’t notice anything odd about him since he was always a stern, apathetic person.

After he was done with his makeup, Ian proceeded to the shoot. Before entering the space, he took a peek at Cindy who was organizing the makeup kit.

As usual, she was silent and gentle.

She’s just another fish in the sea. He let out a sigh before turning around and left.

After collecting the makeup tools, Cindy proceeded to wait in the resting room.

Indeed, as he mentioned earlier, he’d be able to manage his upcoming three-day shooting schedule. After all, what could go wrong with the driver tagging along with him?

After wondering for a while, she pulled out a business card from her pocket. It was the one Gary had handed to her.

As she recalled, Gary stated that she could go and see him whenever she had the time. By then, he would introduce some investment-worthy projects to her.

Cindy had been contemplating about this the past couple of nights before sleeping.

Someone like Gary wouldn’t mindlessly hand out his business card. Since he had given one to her, it would be rude of her to disregard his offer and bail on the rendezvous.

Thus, she thought it would be best if she went for it.

Accordingly, everyone in the resting room headed out to mind their own businesses as the ongoing recording would take a long time.

Meanwhile, Cindy sat in the corner and dialed Gary’s number.

Gary answered the call almost instantly as he greeted passionately, “Hello, who am I speaking to?”

Cindy was slightly nervous, and she hastily replied, “Hello, Mr. Frye. It’s me, Cindy. We met last time at the studio.”

“Ah, it’s you! I remember you.” Gary sounded as if he was holding back his laughter.

Regardless, Cindy was joyous to know that such a renowned figure remembered her.
