Chapter 1556 Did Ian Cheat on Cindy?

Cindy had intended to practice for a bit; she needed to train for a couple of days before regaining her skills after neglecting it for so long.

Then, she studied the draft again and placed it down when she felt satisfied before checking her phone. There wasn’t any message from Ian, which indicated that he was probably busy.

After that, she checked the time. Although it was about time that she should start preparing dinner, she decided to wait since she had heard nothing from those two folks. However, even after she drew another picture in the room, she still hadn’t received any news from him.

As Cindy held the phone, she hesitated whether she should text or give him a call to ask if he would come home for dinner. Nonetheless, before she managed to send any texts or call him, the browser installed in her phone automatically suggested the day’s trending news to her.

Cindy would normally swipe away whatever news that the browser suggested, but just as her finger landed on the notification this time, the name ‘Ian Morgan’ appeared, which caused her to pause in action.

Ian is in the news again? The swiping motion of her finger was naturally replaced by her tapping on the article.

The headline was rather catchy—‘A popular young celebrity has cheated on his partner not long after he announced his relationship’.

What? The moment Cindy laid her eyes on the shocking title, she felt her head spinning without having to read the content. Ian cheated on his partner?!

She continued to read the content below the headline and learned about Ian’s affair as well as the identity of the other woman—Yulia, who came from a good background.

Surprised, Cindy immediately read the news from the beginning till the end twice.

The news mainly elaborated that the paparazzi had followed Ian and Yulia on their secret date. There were even photos attached with the article confirming the identity of those two people. They seemed to be in a cafe or a teahouse and enjoying a conversation while the bright smile on her face was rather obvious.

As the photos had been edited, its background was not clearly revealed. Yet, the smile on Yulia’s face seemed particularly sweet; it was probably due to the angle of how the photo had been taken.

The reporter even dug deeper into their backgrounds and presumed that the two of them were well acquainted with each other, seeing that Yulia was Ian's photographer for a magazine cover.

Also, rumors had it that she bore a great impression of him and treated him exceptionally well. Considering the fact that it was an open secret in the industry that she would always maintain a poker face to whoever she met, the exception that she made by having an especially amicable expression when she was with him seemed to justify today’s news.

After Cindy read the entire passage, she breathed a sigh of relief. The news revealed that the incident had happened earlier in the afternoon, which was barely hours ago. The truth was that Ian had left together with Aurora. She doubted that he would bring Aurora with him to witness him cheating on his partner.

As Aurora obviously had no idea that Cindy and Ian were a fake couple, she couldn’t possibly help her son to cheat on his partner, no matter how unethical Aurora was. As such, the news was probably fake; it was either an attempt by the paparazzi to gain publicity or someone had set Ian up.

The moment that she was done reading the article, Cindy immediately gave Ian a call.
