Sean wants me to have a better attitude toward the old man so that he will consider me more when redistributing his will, but I’m not sure whether Sean is just using me to weaken the shares of Leah and her sons, or he actually wants me to have more of the shares.

Outside the room, Aurora stared at the door of Ian’s room for a while before asking suspiciously, “What is he talking about with Sean? Why are they taking so long?”

Cindy glanced at the door and said, “Maybe they are talking about what to do next. After all, we need to make a meal out of the news that we just threw out. If it doesn’t cause any uproar in the end, the article will turn out to be useless.”

Upon hearing that, Aurora pursed her lips and added, “Maybe the article wasn’t intended for people on the Internet to see.” For a moment, Cindy was left dumbfounded as she couldn’t understand the convoluted plan behind all this, but then, Aurora stood up and stretched her body. “When will this ever end? Can’t we all just go on with our lives happily? What’s the point of all this scheming?” After that, she turned toward Cindy and asked, “Do you want to go out for a walk?”

After glancing at the door, Cindy assumed that Ian wouldn’t come out anytime soon, so she stood up and answered, “Alright. Let’s go for a walk.”

Without changing their clothes, the two of them went downstairs right away in their casual outfits.

Before leaving the house, they shouted at Ian in his room, telling him that they were going out.

After he gave them a clear reply, Cindy and Aurora linked their arms and left.

The weather today was a little cloudy and bad, but it didn’t stop them from having a walk.
