Chapter 2133 It Was a Dream

Cindy started brainstorming before she eventually replied, 'I drank too much tea.'

She figured that her reply made sense, and it didn't sound like she wasn't being genuine.

After replying to Gary, Cindy quickly turned off her phone and went to sleep as she knew that she would feel guilty if she hadn't slept and saw Gary replying to her again. If that happened, she wouldn't be sleeping tonight at all.

Although Cindy slowly drifted off to sleep, she didn't manage to sleep well.

That night, she dreamt of the first time she had met Gary.

Back then, Cindy had been waiting outside and strolling around before she finally sat down somewhere. Meanwhile, Gary was taking some photographs before he took a seat next to her.

What happened in her dream was just like what happened in real life previously. However, Cindy got scared when she saw Gary sitting next to her and ran away instead of starting a conversation with him.

When Cindy woke up the next day, she was stunned for a moment before she realized that what happened was a dream.

She was probably a coward, for she didn't dare to face Gary even in her dreams.

Just then, Cindy sat up and looked out of the window before noticing that it was still early, so she took her phone and went through it.

There were some recommended articles about Ian on her phone, but she wasn't interested in them anymore. I wonder what Ian's company is planning to do now.

However, Cindy wasn't very concerned about what the company was going to do. After all, she was already used to it. Besides, she had left the field and had her own career now, so she didn't care about what was happening in the entertainment field any longer even if Ian was involved in it.

When she went out of her room, she turned toward Aurora's bedroom and realized that the door was shut, indicating that Aurora was still asleep.

Then, Cindy went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast and left some for Aurora before she quickly ate her portion and rushed to her company.

She had been going to her company earlier for the past two days. Since no one was at the office yet, Cindy would utilize this time to think about stuff or learn new things as her brain would be at an optimal condition when no one else was there to bother her.

Just as she took her draft out, she saw someone pushing a cart past her office.

There were clothing materials on the cart, and it looked like it was heading toward the tailoring section to be distributed.

At her level, Cindy knew that she wasn't able to do any hands-on tailoring since she was still learning the basics from the book.

Still, all her other colleagues in the office were able to do basic clothing design and tailoring.

In Cindy's company, everyone was required to learn from the basics no matter what level they were at, and they could only proceed to the next stage after they passed the test.
