“Selena, wait.” I try to catch up to her as she races into the Pack house, I knew as soon as Vince died that she was in pain. Her wolf let out this massive wave of despair and pain, it’s hard to explain but it’s like the feeling just washed over me like a cold shower on a hot day.

I don’t see Selena at first but as I step further into the pale blue bedroom I see her huddled in the comer of the room. She’s wedged herself between the wall and chest of drawers, her blonde head is tucked down, her knees are drawn close to her chest and she is visibly shaking. Instead of going over to her I sit on the end of the double bed, looking at the wall I sit in silence and listen to her cry.
