CHAPTER 75

I got back home before sunrise and I managed to get a couple hours of sleep when I got a message saying that the patrols were extending their perimeter from now on instead of me having to do my sweeps. Alpha Grayson really wanted me to find out what Ava was doing at this facility and what was happening to all these young women that were going missing.

Jacob came over again to give me a hand and he told me that his father was called to the Alpha's office.

It meant that the Alpha was finally going to interrogate him about what Ava was doing and

hopefully we might get some answers.

The Beta doesn't have any Alpha blood in his family so he is able to be commanded by an Alpha. It's only other Alpha's that can't be affected by the Alpha aura.

So Jacob and I got straight back into work and the guys wanted me to keep an open line of communication with them, but they didn't want me to tell Jacob.

I left Jacob upstairs while I went down to feed Rory in the basement.
