Jacob's surprise visit was keeping Izzy at bay but she was starting to fight her brother as well.

She was trying to get past him to try and save her mother, but he wasn't letting her. He knew that Ava needed to be stopped and not even Izzy was going to change his mind. Ava was trying to back up and away from me, but I wasn't letting her get too far.

I stepped away as I heard Izzy screaming in my head and Jacob was standing on the other side, staring at his mother's charred body. Knowing that this was the only ending she was ever going to get.
