I knew the day would come when my little girl started dating and I was even excited about it. It meant that she would be ready for her mate when she finally found him. But I knew that her fathers would give her a hard time so I needed to be a blocker between them.

I took her to the courtyard on the eastern side of the castle because that was our sacred place to talk. It always has been and always will be. No one comes out here but us two.
