When I woke up the next morning I was lying on my side and Noah's arm was draped over my waist. His front was pressed right up against my back and I felt so safe in his strong arms. I laid there without moving for a while because I didn't want to interrupt this moment. I

actually felt happy for once. Probably for the first time in a long time. I didn't want it to end, but Noah knew that I was awake and he started kissing around the back of my neck.

I rolled onto my back to look at him and he leaned over me and kissed me on the lips.

He moved my hair out of my face while staring in my eyes.

"No regrets?" He asked.

"Why would I regret that?"

"I don't know. I was just checking."

"No regrets." I said. So he leaned forward and kissed me again.

I decided to skip my workout for that morning but we could only stay in bed for so long.

We had a shower in Noah's bathroom but I had to sneak back to my room, hoping that Anna or Maisie didn't see me.

I got dressed in my room before I headed down to the dining room where they were already waiting for me.

When Noah came downstairs I told the cook that he would be eating breakfast with us and I told him to sit at the table.

Anna and Maisie gave each other strange looks, but I didn't care about that. So Noah sat down and ate breakfast with us.

I had training with Maisie that morning but after lunch I had to go to the office and get some work done.

Luckily Pa Koda had left detailed instructions on what I had to do in order to keep things running smoothly around here with finances and that sort of stuff. The rest he was leaving up

to my intuition. Like, if I was going to allow new people into the pack or not.

It was hard to know who was worthy or not. Especially after dealing with Felix. I didn't want to
