Sadie's eyes rounded with worry. "I think I need to go home and check on her, but first let me call her one more time."

She grabbed her phone, and then she froze..

"What's wrong?" I asked, and then she raised her head. Her worried gaze hardening into an angry one.

"I think I might have an idea why Ryn is acting off?" She said, handing me the phone and when I checked it, I saw a news headline from a famous blog.

"I mean, is it not enough that she's spreading lies on social media? Now she's taking it nationwide?" Sadie shook her head. "I have no idea what Ryn must be going through right now." "She is getting what she deserves."

Sadie and I turned to the kitchen entrance to find Chelsea leaning against the doorframe with a smirk. Sadie touched my arm, getting my attention. "I want to go check on her. I'll keep you updated, okay?" I nodded and watched her throw a dirty glare at Chelsea before leaving.

Now it was my turn to glare at her.

Suddenly, I felt too tired and disinterested in any banter with her, so I took my tablet and walked out to the living room.

There at the bar, I found Theon mixing a drink.

"What? Cat got your tongue?" Chelsea pressed as I took a seat and prepared to connect with the hospital technicians to demand what happened to the footage..

I didn't

say a word, but from the corner of my eyes, I saw Chelsea move to a seat opposite where I sat.

I would have gone upstairs, but the cleaning crew weren't done yet. I guess I'll keep ignoring her because I don't want any beef with Theon.

Shortly after, Theon moved towards me and handed me a drink I looked up at him, surprised. He had been awfully quiet and strange since he woke up and I couldn't read anything from his expression.

Still, I collected the drink, but I didn't quite trust him enough to taste it, so I placed it on the table before me and went back to work.

"Honey, you didn't make a drink for me." Chelsea pouted.

"I'm sorry, my love. Will do it right away." Theon answered cool and I rolled my eyes before focusing on searching for other footage from the hospital.
