Rushing out of the room, I took the elevator downstairs, barely registering the huge tear in my side that revealed healed skin from where I was clawed. My face and neck were mightily bruised but that would fade in minutes or so, all I care about is finding Sadie alive.

As soon as the elevators opened, I rushed out, suddenly remembering we met security downstairs and had no idea if they were poisoned too. I ran into the parking lot and was just in time to see Sadie shoot a taser gun at one of the men. To my Surprise, she didn’t flinch until he was down on his knees and eventually out cold on the floor.
