Theo leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. His smile seemed a little helpless. "I simply don't know what to do with you. Let's go to the hospital some other day, then. We should grab our dinner now." In the next few days, Theo was busy almost every day, so the hospital examination was delayed indefinitely.

Grant Corporation had to hold a lot of meetings at the end of the year. There were meetings about this year's revenue, the development plans for the coming year, and the documents that Theo needed to go through. Things piled up one after another. He left the house early and came home late almost every day.

I resigned from Fredericks Corporation but had to follow the resignation procedures. Thanks to Cally's help, the resignation procedures were done very quickly.

Initially, Theo and I planned to invite Shannon over for a meal, but he was simply too busy. Neither of us knew when he would have the time, so I decided to invite Shannon over myself.
