The Woman From Hell

I lay on the bed. I tried to break myself free from thinking about what happened today, but my mind was filled with Theo's visage till the point it was going to explode.

"Wanda, the annual business conference will be starting next week. Let's attend it and represent Green Orange," Shannon shouted happily over the phone. There was an uncontrollable excitement in her voice. While I was exhausted, I did not want to be mean and spoil Shannon's joy, so I agreed.

The business conference was where elites from all walks of life would gather. If we could join and represent Green Orange, then the company's business would definitely be able to reach higher levels. I thought about this, and after some time, I gradually fell deeply asleep. The next week, none of my friends around me got hurt since I had deliberately kept my distance.
