I stood there, feeling the weight of Selene's request settle over me. The Moon Goddess herself was asking for a moment alone, and while awe swirled within me, so did a flicker of apprehension.

Chewing the corner of my lip, I eyed her while I contemplated my options. I had so many questions, and I knew in my heart that she was the only one who could give me the answers I sought.
