Amelia and Kieran stared at each other in silence for a few seconds. Then, Amelia backed out of the room and shut the door without another word.

It seemed she was intruding!

Lila returned around 10:00 pm.

Just as she exited the car, she heard a familiar voice cursing angrily. "You worthless bastard. How dare you covet what's mine? You must have a death wish!"
