"Then that's it, let Skylar take you upstairs to rest. I'll tell Clara to call you down when the feast is ready," Shane said.

"Thank you, Grandpa," Yulia could not bear to brush off his kindness, so she could only nod in agreement.

In the evening, Clara walked into Floccessy Tower as Skylar and Yulia were playing with Lola.

"Yulia, Skylar, Grandpa said the feast is about to start,"

Yulia answered her, tidied up her dress, and walked outside with Skylar and Lola.

"Are you playing dumb?"

Clara snorted, "You went to Veilstone Hills alone that day, and met Yanice there didn't you?"

"Yanice kept pestering me about you that night and wanted me to arrange an appointment with you,"

"I said you were in the hospital taking care of Yulia, so she gave up,"

"Yanice had been with me for so long and I know her better than myself,"

"I've never seen Yanice have a crush on any man for the past twenty years,"

"Why did she care about you so much all of a sudden?"

Seeing Clara's angry appearance, Skylar was a little speechless.

What happened at Veilstone Hills that day was enough to shock Yanice and it was enough to change her view of him.

He was afraid that Yanice wanted to see him because she had a purpose and wanted to use his authority.

Skylar smiled helplessly.

Clara looked even angrier, "Are you happy about this?"

"You have a family, Skylar, if you do something bad to Yanice, I won't let you get away with it!"
