Daniel grunted, "You're wondering who I am?"

Daniel announced proudly, "I'm Daniel, the newly appointed Chief of Sconvia Police Headquarters."

Skylar looked at Daniel in amusement, "Oh, it's you."

Dianne walked toward where Daniel was, surprising everyone present.

"Don't move!" The police officers were on high alert as Dianne walked forward.

"Hands up, right now! This is your final warning. Taking any more steps will be treated as an assault on police officers. We will open fire."

Dianne ignored their warnings. She darted forward, appearing right before Daniel.

Smack! A loud slap landed harshly on Daniel's face.

The impact was overwhelming for Daniel. Dianne slapped Daniel to the floor, leaving his face swollen.

"What?"

Everything happened in a split second. No one had time to react. The onlookers stood there in disbelief, with their jaws hanging open.

No one had expected Dianne, Skylar's subordinate, would have the audacity to assault Daniel physically.


The surrounding police officers pointed their guns at Dianne!

All the police officers looked at Daniel, who was on the floor, in concern.

Daniel snapped out of his shock, gritting through the burning sensation on his face as he swiftly rose to his feet. He pointed at Skylar and Dianne, shouting, "You're audacious! I'm the Chief of Sconvia Police Headquarters!"

"How dare you slap me? This is a serious crime!"

"Everyone, point your gun at those two troublemakers. Shoot them to death on the spot!"

Daniel led his men in this operation because of his relationship with Andrew. He also wanted to show off his authority.

However, Dianne slapped Daniel to the floor, embarrassing him in front of everyone.

It was a humiliation!

Daniel was determined not to let Skylar and Dianne off the hook easily because of the slap!

When all the police officers aimed their guns at Skylar and Dianne, Dianne yelled, "Daniel, you won't be appointed as the police chief if it's not because of the Dragon King."
