Chapter 672 Dead and Done

As they walked out of the competition venue, Yulia led Lola to a toy store. Clara walked up to Skylar and whispered, "Skylar, you're so skilled. Who are you really?"

Clara stared at Skylar, trying to catch a glimpse of something in her eyes. She suspected that Skylar had some sort of dark secret and may have ulterior motives for getting close to the Lucas family.

Skylar couldn't help but chuckle at Clara's suspicion. This girl had a sharp mind, but why did she always assume the worst about him?

"I'm just a little better at fighting, is that a crime?" Skylar replied, shaking his head with a wry smile.

"I'm not joking with you!" Clara gritted her teeth. "Come clean, what are your intentions towards Yulia and our family, the Lucas family?"

Skylar remained silent, unsure of how to respond. He couldn't believe Clara was so suspicious of him. Yulia had never questioned his loyalty before, so why was Clara so quick to jump to conclusions?

He couldn't help but roll his eyes at Clara's accusations. The Lucas family was nothing but a small-time group, and if it weren't for Yulia's connection to them, he wouldn't even give them a second glance. Even if they begged him to join, he wouldn't give them the time of day.

Skylar was just about to brush off Clara's questioning when her phone suddenly rang. It was the leader of the Lucas family, Logan.

Clara hesitated for a moment before answering the call. "Hello, Uncle Logan, what can I do for you?"

Skylar couldn't hear the other end of the conversation, but he could see the color drain from Clara's face as she listened to Logan's words.

"Okay, Uncle Logan, I'll make sure he gets home right away!" Clara exclaimed before hanging up.

After hanging up the phone, Clara looked at Skylar and trembled, "Skylar...you...you just had Aiden killed..."

"Is there a problem?" Skylar said indifferently.

"You...you're too..."

Clara swallowed hard.

After a while, she forced herself to calm down, "Uncle Logan just said on the phone that Terry and Mr. Kent, along with a bunch of people, came to our the Lucas family to demand justice."

"He demanded that the Lucas family hand you over, otherwise, they won't spare the Lucas family either."

"Uncle Logan wants you to come back immediately and deal with the mess you caused!"

"Terry? Looks like he didn't take my warning seriously!" Skylar sneered. "I told him not to let me catch him in Sconvia's territory, otherwise, there will be no mercy!"

Without waiting for Clara's reaction, Skylar gave a quick instruction to Yulia and Lola, who were not far away and headed back to the Lucas family alone.

He had already arranged for Dianne to secretly protect Yulia and Lola, so he didn't need to worry about them while he dealt with Terry.

Clara was worried about the situation at home and insisted on going back with Skylar, but he couldn't be bothered to argue.
