Theodore's expression hardened. "Hmph! Are you trying to tell me that Mr. Pearson and Mr. Kent framed you?"

"Aiden and Max, you didn't kill them?"

"I did."

Skylar spoke calmly.

Theodore raised an eyebrow and continued, "And did you transfer most of the Kent family's assets to your name?"

"Yes."

Skylar didn't deny it in the slightest.

"Skylar!"

Clara stomped her foot in anger.

What was wrong with this guy?

She just defended him, and now he's not even denying anything. Is he trying to get himself killed?

Skylar glanced at her before turning back to Theodore. "Aiden and Max deserved what they got..."

Skylar's words were cut off as Theodore interrupted him, "It's not up to you to determine whether or not they deserved it."

"Now that you've admitted to your crimes, you can say whatever you need to say in military court."

"Take this murderer into custody!"

Theodore commanded, and soldiers quickly moved in to arrest Skylar.

Skylar let out a cold laugh. "Just a mere Colonel, yet such a big mouth!"

"As the second-in-command of the garrison in Sconvia City, who gave you the courage to charge me with a crime?"

As soon as the words left his mouth, Skylar took two steps forward.

He was originally surrounded by soldiers with guns, and the onlookers couldn't see clearly what was happening. But before anyone could react, Skylar was standing right in front of Theodore.

Theodore was taken aback. This guy's skills were so impressive.

But before he could react any further, a loud slap resounded through the air, harshly hitting him in the face.
