In the Syldavia, inside a high-end restaurant, Skylar was having dinner with Dianne and Naomi beside the window.

A rather familiar female voice could be heard at this point.

"Naomi, why are you still having a meal with this guy?"

"He's about to be doomed, so stay away from him or you'll suffer as well."

Naomi turned her head in the direction of the voice. She noticed Martha and another man her age approaching with a smug grin on their faces.

Naomi's face darkened quickly, and she grumbled, "Martha, you don't know the whole story, so don't talk nonsense here."

"It's not that Skylar is deliberately provoking the Perez Clan, but the Perez Clan did something to him first."

"Skylar has always been a man of his word, and I believe he can destroy the Perez Clan."

Martha was taken aback after hearing Naomi's statements.

Skylar was boasting brazenly, and Naomi believed him?

Just the two of them, with no actual talents, believing they can bring down a family that has existed for hundreds of years? What a farce!

"I thought you were a nice person, so I couldn't help but say a few more words; if you don't want to listen, you're wasting my good intentions."

Martha's expression darkened as well.

"What kind of existence is the Perez Clan? If you provoke them, does anyone care about who's right or wrong?"

"The Perez Clan is like a god, especially in the Syldavia; even if they're wrong, there's nowhere to argue with them."

"As for you saying that you truly believe Skylar can destroy the Perez Clan..."

"Naomi, do you really think that just because they know a little bit of martial arts, they can wipe out a family that has stood for hundreds of years?" scoffed Martha.

"Do you know what hundreds of years mean? It means surviving warlord conflicts, foreign invasions, and so on before Alvonia was established."

"The Perez Clan's heritage and power far exceed our comprehension; when the Perez Clan gets angry, it's like a ferocious flood beast in the entire Eastern region of Alvonia; no one can stop them!"

Skylar, who was seated next to Naomi, couldn't take it any longer. "The Perez Clan may appear powerful in your eyes," he replied to Martha, shaking his head.

"But they're nothing in my eyes; if I want them to live, they'll live; if I want them to die, they won't survive the next day!"

"Hahaha!"

Martha and the young man next to her burst out laughing as soon as Skylar finished speaking.

They would have assumed they had encountered fools if Naomi hadn't known him.

They will live if he wants them to. They won't survive the next day if he wants them dead.
