“What did you do?” I mumbled quietly.

My mom looked at my dad and sighed.

“Alpha Nathan insisted on getting to know me, so we had dinner together,” my mom said. “I always knew that your dad was my Goddess-given mate. I didn’t need to get to know Alpha Nathan. My heart knew.”
