I’d never spent a day without my sister.

I was nervous then. She was running late and I was scared that something had happened to her. I was at Alpha training, but we still saw each other every day. We were lucky because the Alpha training was being held in a neighboring pack. We would meet at the border every day even if it was just for a few minutes. I would know if she wasn’t. But was she okay? Did she have another episode? Was she hurt? Was she hungry or thirsty?
