Emma POV

My wish didn’t come true.

I kept tossing and turning, and I couldn’t sleep. Pain was burning through me, and I couldn’t stop it.

I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed. I look even paler than usual. My eyes are red and puffy from crying.

I sighed and put on my sneakers. I had to hurry up, or I would be late for my training session. Today was the day I would train with Jake as well. But I didn’t think that I would be able to do that. I would just have to come up with
