Chapter 34 Did Leon Push Flora?

"Flora, I just need to hit the restroom real quick. Wait for me at the playground, okay?" Barry was about to meet up with Sam, and Flora couldn't know about it yet.

"Okay, I'll wait for you, Sam." Flora nodded, but her big eyes showed a bit of confusion.

'Why does Sam always need to go to the restroom every time we go out?' she wondered.

Seeing no one around, Barry quickly slipped into a corner. As soon as the two kids met, they hugged each other tightly.

"Barry, I was a bit surprised when I saw Mom earlier, but since she donated a lot of money abroad, it's understandable that she was invited," Sam said while spinning around with Barry in his arms. The two brothers were getting closer.

"Sam, Mom isn't planning to leave. I think we can tell her the truth." Barry then told Sam everything that happened at the hotel.

"You're so smart. I knew Mom would be especially worried because of your disappearance. Thank goodness for Sophia." Sam looked around but didn't see Flora. "By the way, where did Flora go? Didn't I see you two come over together?"

"Flora went to the playground. I need to go back and hang out with her later." Barry pointed in the direction of the playground.

Sam didn't think much of it at first, but then he suddenly grabbed Barry's hand nervously.

"Barry, we need to get Flora out of there quickly. I remember Dad said he was going to take a call, and it seemed to be in that area!" Sam knew Leon misunderstood Flora's background, and if they met, who knew what trouble might arise.

Barry hurriedly pulled Sam towards the playground, but before they could get there, they saw Leon walking towards it. They quickly found a place to hide. They couldn't let Leon see them.

Flora was immersed in the ball pit and didn't notice Leon at all. Barry and Sam exchanged glances, and Barry suddenly raised his hand and whispered, "We can call Flora!"

Sam facepalmed himself. How come had he not thought of it? His watch could contact Barry, so naturally, it could also call Flora.

Sam quickly called Flora. But with all the kids' voices around her, Flora didn't hear Sam's call.
