Chapter 44 Running into Flora Again at the Mall

When Barry finally stopped crying, Flora quietly walked over. She looked at Tiffany with big, hopeful eyes and said softly, "Mommy, can we go to the mall to buy some pretty ribbons for my room?"

Tiffany smiled and nodded. "Of course, let's go together."

At the mall, Sam and Flora were running around, eyes wide with excitement at all the decorations. They didn't even know where to start.

Suddenly, Sam froze in front of a store selling Spider-Man figures, his eyes lighting up. Barry was right there with him, both kids wishing they could take the giant Spider-Man home.

"Mommy, can Barry and I look around here?" Sam asked, blinking his big eyes hopefully.

"Okay, but if anything happens, call Mommy. I'll take Flora upstairs to look around. Don't run off, okay?"

"We won't, Mommy!" Sam and Barry said together, then hand in hand, they walked into the store.

Tiffany took Flora's hand, and they headed to the second floor.

"Mommy, I want to buy a gift for Barry," Flora suddenly said, pointing to a small toy in a store window.

Tiffany followed her gaze and saw a crystal ball on the shelf, with three children swinging inside-one girl and two boys.

Tiffany patted Flora's head, took her inside, and bought the crystal ball. Flora, holding the crystal ball, excitedly ran downstairs, eager to give the gift to Barry.

Tiffany followed behind Flora, but her phone rang. It was too noisy around, so when she noticed Flora had already gone to the store where Sam and Barry were, she found a quiet corner to answer the call.
