Bronte hesitated for a sec but still grabbed the tiny camera Miguel handed over and got up to leave. "This is the last time I did this kind of stuff for you," she muttered before walking out of the coffee shop.

Neither of them noticed Tiffany, who had been there since Bronte walked in, sitting right behind Miguel.

Bronte was too caught up in her thoughts to see her. Miguel didn't know Tiffany and didn't care, so she overheard everything. She already had some intel on the land bidding and now knew Bronte was involved.
