Chapter 123 The Boy with Severed Limbs

Half an hour later, in Leon's room, Tiffany was still sobbing.

Sophia handed her a tissue and then grabbed a cup of warm water for her.

As she glanced at Leon, unconscious on the bed, she realized she didn't feel as much animosity towards him anymore.

When she found out Leon had fallen into a coma while saving Flora, she thought that once he woke up, she wouldn't stand in the way of him and Tiffany being together.

"Tiffany, how's Flora doing?" Sophia asked, knowing the kids were asleep and not wanting to disturb them. She was more concerned about Flora's condition now.

"She was just scared and she's much better now. But Leon is still in a coma, I don't know when he'll wake up."

Tiffany's mood was low, and her tone was tinged with sadness.

"The doctor said his body is fine, and waking up is just a matter of time. So don't worry, Tiffany. But what's going on with the Cooper Group? Has Ronald figured anything out?" Sophia tried to comfort Tiffany but couldn't help asking about the situation with the Cooper Group. She knew those people were opportunists, always ready to switch sides at the first sign of trouble.

With Leon in a coma and Ronald being elderly, Sophia understood that Tiffany must be worried. She wanted to see if she could offer her assistance.

"If you need anything, just let me know, Tiffany."

Tiffany shook her head, speaking calmly. "Actually, I think this might be a good thing. It reveals some people's true intentions."

She put down the water cup and continued, "They think that without Leon, the Cooper Group can't make any waves. So, they want to take advantage of his coma to go after the company. But they forget that the Cooper Group has grown step by step under Leon's leadership. The resources we have are substantial, and what they can take is just a small fraction, yet they think they've hit the jackpot."

Tiffany added, "Right now, my main concern is that someone within the Cooper Group might be deliberately stirring up trouble among the employees. Grandpa told me that there was some unrest among the shareholders today, with some even considering leaving the company. If this gets out, the rumors will spread and there'll be even more gossip."

Sophia understood Tiffany's point. It all depended on the reliability of the shareholders

now.

She held Tiffany's hand and said earnestly, "Tiffany, no matter what happens, I'll always stand by your side. If the Cooper Group needs me, I'll do my best to help."

"I know," Tiffany replied. "Grandpa plans to visit the company tomorrow. With him there, things should be stable for now."

After Tiffany finished speaking, Sophia nodded and rested her head on Tiffany's shoulder.
