Chapter 222 Two Leons

Leon hadn't done anything wrong, yet he was being blamed for everything. His tone grew impatient.

"If you have nothing better to do, go investigate."

"Alright, I won't say anything more."

Aiden quickly left, not wanting to provoke Leon's anger any further.

Leon walked silently through the living room, bypassing Tiffany's spot, and deliberately

sat across from her. He glanced at Tiffany out of the corner of his eye, but she didn't even look up.

As soon as Leon sat down, Tiffany got up to leave, as if she couldn't stand being in the same room with him.

Leon couldn't tolerate it any longer and called out to her.

"Tiffany, if you have something to say, just say it."

Tiffany stopped in her tracks and glared at Leon. She didn't say anything, but her eyes showed a hint of annoyance.

Leon was inexplicably annoyed by Tiffany's attitude. He should be the one annoyed, not her. What right did Tiffany have?

Tiffany had only gone out for a bit, but she came back as if she had swallowed a firecracker, full of anger. Her expression seemed to warn everyone around her not to mess with her, or else.

Leon felt a surge of anger. He hadn't confronted Tiffany, yet she was treating him with disdain. How could he not be angry?

For the rest of the time, Leon stayed in the living room while Tiffany stayed in her room. Even when they occasionally ran into each other, they didn't speak, treating each other like they were invisible.

Finally, it was dinnertime.

Aiden and Ronald arrived at the dining room to find Tiffany and Leon already seated at the table, but there was a palpable tension between them, as if they had a deep-seated grudge.

"Leon, why the long face?" Ronald asked as he sat next to Leon.

"Nothing, Grandpa. Let's eat," Leon spoke with a blank expression. Tiffany was the same. Their strange atmosphere felt off.

Ronald looked at Leon, then at Tiffany. He was sure they had argued. Otherwise, why would they be like this?
