On the plane, Clara was too sleepy to resist and fell fast asleep, cuddling lightly to Alex

Emmett looked over a few documents, sorting out what he needed to do at the office after the plane landed. He then got up to check on them and found them sound asleep. so peaceful and sweet.

He smiled slightly, then bent over to tuck them in.

Suddenly, Emmett heard Clara stirring and mumbling something in her sleep.

He paused, then leaned in to listen.

Was she calling out Elio’s name?

Emmett felt his blood rush in reverse. He wanted to shake the woman in front of him awake and ask her what the deal was with her and Elio. Why was she calling out his name in her sleep?

But as his hand was halfway out, he retracted it.
