"Get out," Yvette commanded. She didn't care how Xavier had come in.

"The front desk said all the rooms here are booked. If I leave, I have nowhere to stay," Xavier said, looking somewhat pitiful.

"It's not even peak season; how could it be fully booked?" Yvette retorted as she picked up her phone to call the front desk. To her surprise, it was indeed fully booked.

She was a bit confused.

At some point, Xavier was already standing in front of her. "It's probably fully booked because the New Year is coming."

"Then go stay at another hotel," Yvette suggested. Surely not all the hotels were fully booked!

"No way." Xavier refused outright and leaned toward Yvette. "I had a hard time finding you here. Do you really want a blind man to go out and find another hotel in the middle of the night? Won't you worry?" Yvette might worry if it had been someone else, but Xavier had plenty of bodyguards and subordinates.

She grabbed his sleeve, trying to lead him out. "I'll take you to another hotel."

Xavier hadn't expected his pity act to fail. He stood still. "Yvvy, I don't want to go anywhere else."
