The Killian residence was huge and took about 40 minutes to walk from the entrance to Rhett's place. People would usually drive in. But since Hera only took a cab to the gate, the security wanted to drive her in using a guest car. However, it seemed all the guest cars were in use today. Despite waiting for a while, the guard had yet to return.

The midday sun in June was scorching, so Hera decided to move farther into the estate, recalling that there was a pavilion in the garden.

"Mr. Xavier, why are you playing with mud again? Come with me. It's too hot, and you might get heatstroke."

A woman's voice caught Hera's attention. She looked in the direction of the voice and saw a thin man squatting by a rock formation near the pavilion, playing with mud and dirtying his white shirt and face.

The elderly maid, Marriott, anxiously stopped him from putting mud in his mouth. She carefully wiped the mud off his face and hands. "Mr. Xavier, this is mud. You can't eat it."

The man grinned. "I'm an earthworm. I love eating mud."

Marriott said gently, "You're not an earthworm. You're Mr. Xavier. You don't eat mud, you eat food."

"No, no, Roman said I'm an earthworm, so I want to eat mud," the man insisted as he grabbed more mud.
