Just as Hera left, Frederick walked in. He noticed Hera leaving with a contract and knew Rhett had already signed her. This humiliated him. Every time Frederick saw Hera, he was reminded of how foolish he was. He once insulted her, calling her worthless, all while praising Raven.

Frederick was certain that Hera had to be laughing at him. The more he thought about it, the more ashamed he felt. He couldn't accept his humiliation, especially since he had always been the one to bully her. "Contact Adorbs Corp and tell them to continue their collaboration with Everett Group," Rhett instructed when he saw Frederick.

Frederick frowned. "Dad, are we really going to work with her? What if she takes the opportunity to steal information from the company?"

"How many times do I have to tell you? Be patient. No pain, no gain." Rhett glanced at him.

"But-" Frederick argued.

Rhett cut him off, "No buts. In fact, I'm hoping she does try to sabotage the Killian Corporation. It'll make it easier to pin a crime on her and crush her completely."

Frederick immediately understood Rhett's motives. Indeed, signing Hera meant she was like a pig to the slaughter. With this realization, Frederick's anger quickly dissipated.
