After he was done talking on the phone in the yard, Bernard headed back into the house just in time to see Hera grabbing her bag and leaving the western wing. He glanced at the clock on the wall. It was already 9:00 pm. Where was she going to at this hour?

"Where are you going?" he asked.

Hera stopped. Based on her understanding of Bernard, he would stop her from leaving if she told him frankly that she wanted to go and meet Tyler.

"Samantha's feeling unwell. I'm heading over to her place to check on her," Hera lied.

"I'm heading out too. I'll send you there," said Bernard. He entered the house and grabbed his car keys.
