Before he could utter a word, a group of waiters walked up the stairs to the second floor, each with a bottle of cognac in their hands. They lined up, walked into each private room, and placed the bottles on the tables. Wayne walked behind the waiters and finally saw Everly in one of the rooms.

To prevent him from making a fuss right then and there, she got up, made up the excuse of using the restroom, and left the room.
