Tiffany didn't take William's words to heart at all. It didn't take long for her to fall asleep-perhaps she was exhausted from the worry. When she woke up, it was already the next morning.

Brianna's bed was empty. She rarely returned to the dorm after breaking up with William. At least it offered Tiffany some peace.

Tiffany got out of bed to wash up. She felt unpleasant because she'd gone to bed without bathing the night before. She couldn't help feeling dirty. So, she grabbed a set of clothes and headed into the bathroom to take a shower. Someone knocked on the door when she was done. She answered it to see William standing outside. Tiffany held onto the doorknob; she had no intention to let him in. "Why are you here again?"

He wore a casual navy blue outfit. A few tendrils of hair clung to his forehead, and the sun shone down on him from behind. The sight wouldn't move Tiffany anymore, though.
