Chapter 154

Vincent called for help after getting into the car. Once he hung up, Tiffany asked, "What did they say?" "We're a bit far out, so it'll take them at least 40 minutes to arrive." He turned to look at her. Then, he frowned.

The light in the car was on, so he could clearly see that Tiffany was soaked through from the rain. There were droplets of water dripping from her hair. She wore a white T-shirt with a checkered shirt on top, but they were both drenched. She looked like a mess. Vincent pulled out a towel from the glove compartment and handed it to her. "Wipe yourself. You don't wanna catch a cold."

She hesitated but still took it. "Thanks, Mr. Lewis."

As she dried her hair, he looked down at his phone. Her checkered shirt clung to her, making her feel uncomfortable. So, she took it off, leaving only her thin T-shirt behind.

Suddenly, Vincent sneezed. Tiffany turned to look at him. He'd spent longer in the rain than she had and was wetter than she was.

She hurriedly patted herself dry before twisting the towel dry and handing it to him. "You should wipe yourself, too, Mr. Lewis."

He looked at her. "No, I'm-"
