The kitchen was split into three areas. Tiffany was standing in the second area while William was in the innermost one. Though they were some distance apart, she could still see him slipping two white pills into a cup before stirring. Once William was done, he picked up the cup of milk and turned around.

The moment he saw Tiffany, his eyes flickered briefly with emotion. However, it was gone before Tiffany could sense what it was.

He approached Tiffany with a faint smile. "Tiffany? Why are you here?"
